ZachXBT has issued a Community Warning: web3 Token Presale Potentially Fraudulent
BlockBeats News, August 28th, On-Chain Detective ZachXBT issued a community warning that the crypto project conducting a token presale, web3 (@web3), is associated with members of the 2022 Squiggles NFT scam team and the notorious Raichu (Ryan), and this presale may be a fraudulent activity.
On February 11th, 2022, the NFT project Squiggles allegedly used a series of shadow wallets to purchase NFTs from the project, creating a large number of fake transactions, and was later delisted by OpenSea.
Raichu (Ryan) has been involved in multiple cryptocurrency and NFT project frauds, collaborated with Lil Xan to promote the Baller Ape Club (BAC), which was later accused of a $26 million scam, with the founder being sued by the US Department of Justice (DOJ). Also collaborated with Rich The Kid to promote the Ancient Cats Club, and shortly after the launch, the team pulled a RUG, stealing $1.7 million.
