On July 10, the U.S. Department of Defense released 40 documents related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs), including 14 documents, 19 videos, 4 audio recordings, and 3 images. This is the fourth batch of files released since May of this year, in response to a request from President Trump. The documents come from various government agencies, with about half of them originating from after 2010. Some videos were captured by U.S. military infrared sensors and are of poor quality, with one video filmed in 2020 considered the clearest to date. This 32-second video was provided by the U.S. Northern Command, and the accompanying text report has been heavily redacted. A Navy weapons systems operator reported seeing a dark-colored, chestnut object approximately 12 to 15 feet tall (3.7 to 4.6 meters), resembling a deformed balloon, over the Atlantic Ocean.
