MoonPay releases open-source cross-chain wallet standard for AI Agents
According to The Block, the crypto payment company MoonPay has open-sourced a new wallet infrastructure standard called Open Wallet Standard, aimed at supporting autonomous AI agents to conduct transactions across blockchains, marking the company's latest advancement in AI-native crypto tools.
This version (available on GitHub, npm, and PyPI) builds on the "MoonPay Agents" launched earlier by MoonPay. "MoonPay Agents" is a non-custodial software layer introduced in February that allows AI systems to interact with wallets and execute transactions programmatically.
