According to Jin Shi citing CCTV News, a representative of the Expert Assembly in Mazandaran Province, Iran, stated that the members of the Expert Assembly have fulfilled their duties, and the successor to Khamenei's legacy will be officially announced soon.
He pointed out that the Expert Assembly has never faced such immense pressure as it does now, with hostile forces attempting to force the assembly to abandon its selected candidate, but the members have resisted external interference.
