Guotai Junan International Officially Launches Cryptocurrency Trading Service
BlockBeats News, August 28th. According to Ming Pao, Guotai Junan International has officially launched cryptocurrency trading services. After clients open a crypto account, they can trade various coins including BTC, ETH, AVAX, LINK, and SOL. Clients with professional investor qualifications can further choose to trade XRP, USDT, USDC, and other coins. Additionally, clients can use Guotai Junan Securities (Hong Kong) securities trading services to allocate idle funds that have not been invested in the cryptocurrency market to Guotai Junan International's "Wealth Management Plan." Guotai Junan International plans to launch more advanced digital asset services in the future.
On June 24th, Guotai Junan International announced that its parent company, Guotai Haitong Group, through its subsidiary Guotai Junan International Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 1788.HK), officially received approval from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on June 24th. The approval allows the upgrading of its existing securities trading license to provide virtual asset trading services and to provide advice based on offering virtual asset trading services. After the upgrade, clients can directly trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, and other stablecoins on its platform.
