Frank Sinatra sees three albums reenter Billboard’s jazz charts this week, with Nothing But the Best ... More and Ultimate Sinatra returning to the top 10. (Photo by Icon and Image/Getty Images) Many Billboard charts were impacted last week after Record Store Day became a thrilling event for music lovers across the United States. Dozens of titles debuted across the weekly rankings after special editions, new albums, and live recordings sold thousands of copies in brick-and-mortar locations throughout the country. Just days after many of those titles appeared, almost all of the exclusives from the music industry event are gone, as they were typically offered in very limited quantities and have since vanished. The vacuum left behind has been filled by comebacks from fan-favorite artists, with certain genre-specific lists this time around welcoming back multiple collections. Frank Sinatra stands out as one of the biggest gainers following Record Store Day 2025. The late icon sees multiple projects return to several of Billboard’s jazz rankings, which last frame featured quite a few brand new titles from superstars in the genre. Nothing But the Best is Sinatra’s top performer – when looking at his comebacks – this time around. That title reenters the top 10 on both the Traditional Jazz Albums list (No. 8) and the Jazz Albums tally (No. 10). Just one space beneath that collection comes another from the crooner. Ultimate Sinatra: The Centennial Collection makes its way back to both of those style-specific rosters. It makes its way back to the Traditional Jazz Albums list at No. 9 and just misses the top 10 on the Jazz Albums list, landing at No. 11. Sinatra sees a trio of titles return to the all-encompassing Jazz Albums ranking — the largest and most competitive jazz-focused chart in the U.S. Sinatra Duets: 20th Anniversary (Deluxe Edition) can be found at No. 21 on the 25-position tally. The set doesn’t manage to carve out space on the Traditional Jazz Albums list, unlike Nothing But the Best and Ultimate Sinatra . Two versions of Ultimate Sinatra appear on both style-only tallies this frame, but only one manages a proper comeback. The original Ultimate Sinatra was still residing inside the top three on both the Traditional Jazz Albums and Jazz Albums rankings last frame. Now, it soars to No. 1 on the former and secures the runner-up position on the latter. Last week, more than a dozen titles arrived on the Jazz Albums chart. That roundup included special offerings from some of the most famous in the industry, such as Gil Scott-Heron, Bill Evans, and both Thelonious Monk and Vince Guaraldio, who scored a pair of wins. Even Joni Mitchell earned her first career smash on the list as well. Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/hughmcintyre/2025/05/02/frank-sinatra-invades-the-billboard-charts-again-with-fan-favorites/
