Digital asset insurance provider Soter Insure launches ETH-priced insurance for Ethereum staking penalties
Digital asset insurance provider Soter Insure announced the launch of Ethereum-denominated confiscation insurance, developed in collaboration with Galaxy Digital. This insurance primarily targets the core risk of validators in Ethereum staking being penalized for protocol violations, providing security for Ethereum validators and institutional stakers. The premiums and claims are both denominated and settled in ETH, addressing the issue of insufficient coverage in traditional USD-denominated insurance when ETH prices rise, thereby eliminating the "currency mismatch risk."
